You must be registered for the event to be eligible to participate. The ride starts at the Lady Bird Johnson Park at 9:AM and ends back at the Lady Bird Johnson Park at 2:PM. When you register for the HI1 Country Ride you will receive a book of four tickets. At each of the four designated stops you will find a large jar. Tear the ticket at the perforation and drop half into jar. A winning ticket will be drawn from each of the four jars.
Winners of this event, the Bike show and Bike games will be announced at 7:PM. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
The Ride
The first fuel stop will be 24.7 miles from the start.
When you leave the Park entrance, turn right on Hwy 16. Proceed 1.5 ', turn left on to Old Kerr road and proceed 0.2'. Cross the river and turn left on River Road. Proceed 3.6 ' , turn right on Hwy 87 and proceed 1.5' turn left on Meusebach Creek Rd. and proceed 2.9' to Old San Antonio Rd. Turn right and proceed 4.8' turn left on to Grapetown Rd. and proceed 4.8' to State Hwy 1376. Turn right and proceed 0.2' to Luckenbach Loop, turn right and proceed 0.4' to Luckenback.
Deposit the first of your tickets in the jar at Luckenbach.
When you leave Luckenbach, proceed out the East entrance and turn left on Hwy 1376, proceed 4.5' to the Stagecoach Convenience store on your left.
Deposit the second of your tickets in the jar at the Stagecoach.
Check your gas before leaving Stagecoach. It will be 46.4 miles to next available fuel.
When you leave Stagecoach, turn right on Hwy 290 and proceed 5.0' to Grape Creek Vine Yard.
Deposit your third ticket at Grape Creek Vine Yard.
When you leave Grape Creek, turn right on Hwy 290 and proceed 2.8 miles to Upper Albert Rd. Turn right on to Upper Albert Rd. and proceed 3.0' to 1623. Turn right and proceed 3.2' to the Lower Albert Rd. Turn left and proceed 2.9' to Hwy 290. At Hwy 290 continue straight across 0.1' to Ranch Road 1. Turn left on Ranch Road 1 and proceed 3.3' to State Rd. 1623. (
